Thoughts for 2011

We often wish one another a happy new year. Yet so often there is no change for most people from year to year. You can truly make this coming year really different- happy and new- for you and your family.
Here are some indispensable things to consider:

          H-ear God’s Word……………………………….Isaiah 55:3
          A-nswer God’s  Call…………………………….Isaiah 6: 8
          P-urity Possess……………………………………Matthew 5: 8
          P-romises Claim………………………………….2Corinthians1: 20
          Y-ield to God……………………………………  Romans 6:13

N-o Condemnation………………………………  Romans 8: 1
          E-nter into His Rest……………………………… Hebrews 4: 9, 11
          W-alk in Love……………………………………  Ephesians5: 2

           Y-our tongue… a tree of  life……………………  Proverbs 15:4
           E-xample of Righteousness……………………….I Timothy 4: 12
           A-sk in Faith………………………………………James 1: 6
           R-ejoice in the Lord always……………………….Philippians 4: 4

There is no doubt that God intends that you have a wonderful year. Don’t leave Him out of your plans. Do not ignore His warnings. Ask for His counsel and directions at all times. Make sure you pray and get into a Bible-believing fellowship, and it shall be well with you this year in Jesus name, Amen.

THOUGHTS FOR THE NEW YEAR
 No matter what a man’s past have been, his future is spotless, if he takes the right decision and follows the right model. God is refuge and strength for all faithful believers. Jesus is the Lord and Master; the perfect Model for a successful life.

God says: “My presence shall go with thee and
I will give thee rest” (Exodus 33:14)
Jesus says:
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.- John 14:18

Let Jesus be your Lord and Master, and this year will truly be new for you: you have His guarantee on this promise: HAPPY NEW YEAR in Christ.

FORGET IT ALL
Forget the word of slander heard
Forget the harsh, the cruel word;
Forget the strife, the bitter test;
Forget it all, in Him find rest.

Forget the storms of yesteryear;
Forget the rocks, the days so drear,
Forget the clouds you have passed through
Forget it all, He loveth you.

Forget the foe, the woundings had;
Forget the rain, the weather bad;
Forget the suffering, the days so cold;
Forget it all as time grows old.
